Education Committee to Vote on Bills to Encourage Child Exploitation Awareness Education and Define Regulations for Religious Child-Care Facilities
WHAT: The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Paul Clymer (R-Bucks), will vote on the following bills:
• House Bill 2318, sponsored by Rep. Mauree Gingrich (R-Lebanon), which would
allow school districts to incorporate child exploitation awareness education into
the health curriculum; and
• House Bill 2504, sponsored by Rep. Stan Saylor (R-York), which would ensure
health and safety regulations are applied at religious child-care facilities while still
protecting religiously sensitive areas.
