House Education Committee to Consider Security, Homeschool and State System Bills

WHAT: The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Paul Clymer (R-Bucks) will hold a voting meeting to consider four legislative proposals: House Bill 2316 seeks to increase school security and safety; House Bill 2317 addresses high school diplomas for homeschooled students; Senate Bill 1133 deals with doctoral degrees within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE); and Senate Bill 1322 would allow PASSHE to enter into cooperative agreements for supplies and services.
